Sales of Modplan’s VEKA vertical slider have continued to grow throughout 2015 and Heidi Sachs, Managing Director of the trade fabricator, says the trend shows no sign of slowing down in 2016. “Our vertical slider is a very popular product thanks to its mixture of authentic detailing and PVCu practicality. Modplan’s VEKA vertical slider is the perfect example of a value-added product. It uses the industry-leading fully sculptured Matrix FS system, which means the fixings are completely compatible with existing VEKA fitting brackets, reducing installers’ inventory. It has a universal cill design, which allows for an overhanging or a stub cill, while the rear cill projection gives improved weather performance. There are two bottom sash options: four-sided fully-welded or three sided welded with a mechanically coupled wide bottom rail and it can be supplied without horns or with screw-on horns. It is available in White, Golden Oak on Caramel, Golden Oak on White, Rosewood on Brown and Rosewood on White for maximum aesthetic flexibility. Finally, for complete peace of mind, child restrictors are fitted as standard.
