Burles Group, the company that is home to industry leading names such as leading VEKA fabricator Modplan and the UK’s largest independent trade counter network National Plastics, has just been named in the 1000 Companies to Inspire Britain 2016 report.

David Burles, Chairman of Burles Group said, “We are delighted to be named in this prestigious list. It’s a testament to the hard work and dedication of every member of our team at every level and this is a great opportunity to thank them for their commitment to making our businesses a success.”

The 1000 Companies to Inspire Britain report, which is in its third year, is an annual celebration of some of the fastest-growing and most dynamic small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the UK. As well as identifying 1,000 companies, the annual report, which is compiled by London Stock Exchange Group plc, examines in detail the opportunities and challenges facing SMEs and looks at the sectors and trends that will shape the future of the UK economy.

The success of the Burles Group’s businesses is built on the simple principle of giving customers excellent products and service at competitive prices.

Modplan manufactures and provides a comprehensive range of products that includes Matrix 58, Veka Matrix 70 and 70FS, Veka Vertical sliders, a dedicated painting facility, PVC-u patio and bifold doors, conservatories, the Vertex Open Canopy, the Vertex roof system for polycarbonate, glass or tile effect, Wendland roofing system and the newly added Ultrasky and Livin room.

The inclusion of the Burles Group in this year’s 1000 Companies to Inspire Britain report demonstrates the success of its companies’ approach as well as a resurgence in the strength of the window industry as a whole.
