New appointment at Modplan

Leading trade fabricator Modplan has further strengthened its sales management team with the appointment of industry-man Paul Tween as Business Development Manager (South East).

Having worked directly within the fenestration industry for ten years, Paul brings a wealth of exceptional industry experience and in-depth market knowledge.

Commenting on his appointment, Paul said: “I am delighted to join Modplan. The company has a great reputation for delivering the products today’s installers and contractors need and proactively supports their customers with a partnership approach that adds further value. As a previous customer of Modplan, I have witnessed first-hand the level of product excellence and support they provide, and I look forward to working with the team.”

Paul, who joined Modplan in May 2023, reports directly to Ian Lewis, Modplan’s Sales Manager. Ian commented: “Paul is well-known in the industry and having worked closely with him in the past, I know first-hand what an asset he’ll be to our customers and the wider business. We are pleased to find such a committed and experienced professional.”

As Business Development Manager (South East), Paul will focus on delivering Modplan’s continuing growth strategy while supporting existing customers throughout the M4 corridor and south. He said: “Modplan has a service-centric approach and commitment to putting the customer front and centre. I look forward to meeting customers over the next few weeks and learning more about their businesses.”

For 50 years, Modplan has been manufacturing and supplying cutting-edge products to installing partners throughout the UK, focused on exceeding customers’ expectations. It manufactures the widest portfolio of PVC-U products throughout its multi-site 165,000 sqft fabrication facilities near Newport, Gwent.

With an extensive track record in the industry, Paul will no doubt prove to be an excellent addition to the Modplan team, adding further strength to an already strong structure.
