Open Day success for Modplan

Leading trade fabricator Modplan has hailed its recent Leka Systems Open Day as a great success. Ian Lewis, Field Sales Manager at Modplan, said: “Our Leka Open Day was a great introduction to our Leka portfolio and helped show prospects the level of commitment they could expect from us.  Attendees feedback has been exceptional and we’ve already secured several new sales enquiries.”

A mixture of business owners, managers and sales representatives attended the one-day event, which took place on March 27th at Modplan’s headquarters near Newport, Gwent. Attendees were able to learn more about the advantages of the Leka roofing portfolio, including live presentations on the industry-leading Leka Solid Roof, Orangery Roof System, Leka Xi Modular System, Leka Carport and Canopy System and Leka Skylight System.

On hand throughout the day was Rhys Hoddinott, Managing Director of Leka Systems.  Rhys commented. “We were delighted to support Modplan at their Open Day. Leka roofing products have taken the market by storm over the past few years and show no signs of slowing down. Market conditions are working in our favour and with the rise in energy prices, more households are focusing their attention on energy saving products. Our roofing systems make buildings much more thermally efficient by design which presents a big opportunity for fabricators and installers.”

Leka’s roofing solutions transform conservatories that are too hot in summer or too cold in winter because they have U values as low as 0.10W/m²K, helping to make homes more thermally efficient as well as create more useable living space. They are also suitable for new build projects too.

Following the seminar and live product demonstrations, attendees had a guided tour of Modplan’s impressive multi-site facilities, including their dedicated Leka fabrication plant.  Ian Lewis, said: “Seeing the quality, efficiency and high-quality production output of our Leka roof products is always impressive and gives further assurance to potential new customers.”
